PhysX/Compute Performance 

Mixbetrieb deutlich verbessert

PhysX ist nun bereits seit einigen Generationen bei NVIDIA im Einsatz. Dazu gesellen sich nun auch die neuen DirectX Compute Features, die wir wohl in Zukunft auch immer öfter in Games antreffen werden. Die Fermi Architektur hat in der Performance deutliche Vorteile hervorgebracht, wenn nur eine GPU zum Einsatz kommt und abwechseln 3D und Physikberechungen durchgeführt werden.

Bei der GeForce GTX 590 kann man bei PhysX wählen ob man die Rechenleistung automatisch verteilen, auf eine GPU festsetzen oder sogar eine GPU ausschließlich für PhysX verwenden will. Je nachdem wie man die Einstellungen vornimmt, ergeben sich  auch unterschiede in der Performance. Wir benutzen die Default Einstelllung.
