Pressemitteilung Built for Overclockers by Overclockers Taipei, Taiwan, ROC, February 19, 2002- Remember the ABIT BH6? It was the largest selling motherboard of all time, selling over 2 million and launching an overclocking revolution. The BH6 was a purist’s board. It was designed by the Engineers of ABIT to throw in a hot VGA Card, overclock it and have the fastest, most stable overclocked board available. The ABIT Engineers remember those days fondly and have been busy tweaking and testing a board that is worthy enough to follow in the footsteps of the BH6. 4-Phase Power for Performance Based on the Intel 845PE chipset, the BH7 is ABIT Engineered for speed, stability and power, using ABIT's unique 4-phase power solution to deliver enough power while overclocking. 4-phase power also means that the BH7 will be compatible with future 800 MHz FSB CPUs, while other boards will not. The Engineers at ABIT believe that without 4-Phase Power, the board will not be able to reach peak performance levels and will not support upcoming CPUs. The BH7 is designed to be a stripped-down, mean overclocking machine and is thus equipped with only the most necessary features: 6-Channel Audio, 3+1 serial ATA and ABIT Softmenu™, the original overclockers BIOS. ABIT Engineered for Overclocking Because of the severe demands placed on a motherboard's components during overclocking, the BH7 will use only Rubycon capacitors from Japan, the highest quality capacitors available on the market and the best for overclocking. While some motherboard manufacturers may use Rubycon capacitors only in the highest power consumption areas of their motherboards, ABIT believes with the greater demands of overclocking only the best will do. The most common quality problem a motherboard faces over its life has to do with capacitors. By using Rubycon capacitors, ABIT now leads the motherboard industry in terms of quality. With 4-phase power and Rubycon capacitors, the BH7 is ABIT Engineered to be pushed to the limit well into the future. Prepare for the next generation of overclocking with the ABIT Engineered BH7.
