Intel hat eine neue Version des Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility veröffentlicht.

Das "Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility" wird im allgemeinen einfach Intel Chipsatz-Treiber genannt. Intel hat nun die Version 8.2.0.1014 veröffentlicht und nennt folgende Änderungen.

Neue Features
  • Installer is now signed with a class 3 digital signature

  • New user interface with associated localization changes due to product name change from Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility to Intel Chipset Device Software

  • Fixed issue where a yellow bang on the SMBus device was seen in the Device Manager

  • Added support for Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset family

  • For the compressed ZIP distribution of this software, the INFs for Microsoft Windows Vista are located within the “Vista” directory rather than the “All” directory.

  • For the compressed ZIP distribution of this software, the INF's for all supported operating systems are now in the “All” directory of the ZIP file.
Behobene Probleme

  • Fixed & WHQL’d the following INFs that had an incorrect character ( – ) this character caused double byte languages to display different characters
    • 5000xzvp.inf, 945.inf, 965g.inf, and Ich8core.inf
