Im Netz mehren sich die Berichte über gute Übertaktungseigenschaften der HD 6790.

Wie etwa unsere englischsprachigen Kollegen von Nordic Hardware berichten, lassen sich einige Modelle der Radeon HD 6790-Serie hervorragend übertakten und bieten Spielraum für Taktraten um die 1.000 MHz. Allerdings ist bis dato nicht sicher zu sagen, welche Modelle genügend Leistungspotential in der Hinterhand haben. Dies hängt vor allem vom jeweiligen Karten-Layout der Hersteller ab.

The overclocking potential is affected by luck, skill and the manufacturer. AMD has let the partners design its own circuit boards and coolers, which is quite clear from the pictures that are starting to circulate.

Some models comes with a more powerful power supply and dual 6-pin connectors while other settles for a single 6-pin connector for power, which is reflected in the choice of cooler. Below you will find a variety of pictures of the models to expect in stores in the coming days.
