Hi guys, I did a binary compare of the two firmware upgrades available for the smart DVX5S and found they are 100% bit-identical
They are linked from the first post for models with serial numbers
G1610-YA00001 to G1610-YA05075 (shared by *Speus*)
G1611-EB01231 to G1611-EB02030 (shared by *DennisDuisburg*)
I assume it can also be applied to DVX5S smart with serial in other ranges.
Once I have a backup of my current firmware and have a method to recover from a possible brick I will try it.
