775 Dual-VSTA Unofficial BIOS
 

Hallo, ich habe einen Motherboard 775 Dual-VSTA (letztes offizielles Bios ver 3.1)
Ich moechte 4GB RAM installieren, aber der Motherboard erkennt maximum 3 GB.
Kann ich das Problem mit ein inoffizielles Bios loesen? Wenn Ja, wo kann ich es finden?

das problem ist imho nicht das mainboard, sondern dass du vermutlich winXP 32 bit drauf installiert hast, kann das sein?

The last unofficial bios beta was 775Dual-VSTA BIOS L3.19 REV:a (I have it)



Changelog:
- Add support for HD 4890
- Support 4 GB DDR2 (~ 3,3 GB useable)
- Enhanced Speedfancontrol for PWM-Fans
- Support Enahnced Halt State, SpeedStep and Thermal Throttling
- Instant Boot Support


It works very well with E5700

I have an old motherboard that i'm using as a win7.


It has some limitations, like only 2 X 1GB of ram DDR2,

If it's possible, i need , 4gb of ram

Anyway, if there's no way to get it done, or people don't want to spend their time, that it's understundable, is there any tutorial or how-to mod your own bios?
