Download: - Fixed a problem that caused direct download to show the "Save as" dialog box. - Fixed problems in the download dialog box (could not open file first time after viewer was changed etc) - Added support for "Pass web address directly to application" in file type dialog box. - Fixed some problems with the saved folder location. It was lost when it should not have been when using the download dialog. - Fixed a problem that caused the file selector to start with the saved save-directory even in file-open mode. Windows: - The saved windows sizes in session files were in some cases wrong. This would cause problem when normalizing a maximized window after a session was loaded. The window could be opened outsize the visible workspace. - Top level windows will now not open outsize or partly outside the visible desktop area. This could happen with certain window managers. - Improved the cascading of top level windows. It could be difficult to understand a new window has been opened because it opened right above the current window. Dialogs: - Fixed a dialog problem that could lead to a crash. If many modal dialogs were opened at the same time the parent relationship could be corrupted. - Save "Show hidden files" and "detail mode" of the file selector in opera6.ini so that the dialog layout is remembered. Sound: - Enabled support for more sound actions (startup and m2) Misc: - Experimental support for IPv6 - Improved progress information handling when loading pages in order to reduce the CPU load. - Added support for WM_WINDOW_ROLE property. - Some lists the the UI that should not be user sortable are now locked. - Added support for animated clicks in push buttons. sorry atmosii, aber er hat gefragt wer schon damit erfahrungen gesammelt hat und nicht was die neue beta 7.20 bringt. das kann man ja immerhin auf der offiziellen seite lesen. nun zurück, ich hoffe die ist etwas besser als die 7.11. die will manchmal keine seiten aufbauen weil es sie irdendwie nicht gibt. erst beim zweiten laden schafft opera das manchmal. hat noch wer probleme? ich denke mal ich werd mir die 7.20 mal draufmachen, man kann ja beide gleichzeitig laufen lassen. schreib dann einen bericht |
ich hatte den changelog nur noch ergänzt weil er fehlte... zu meinen erfahrungen mit 7.2b1: zuerst habe ich es über meine alte installation drüber installiert. dabei hatte ich keine probs. aber auch keinen grossen zuwachs an speed. deshalb habe ich es mal komplett desinstalliert und nur die 7.2b1 version installiert und siehe da, opera geht ab wie sonst was..... mindestens 2/3 zuwachs an speed bei grosser bandbreite (400kb+) und bei dsl verhältnissen leider nur minimal schneller. dafür sind die menüs usw weniger cpu lastig... die neuen features bezüglich des mailclients und des drag and drop funzen auch super. abstürze konnte ich noch nicht fabrizieren.... desweiteren werden laufschriften endlich korrekt angezeigt.... [url]www.sport1.de[/url] scheint auch endlich korrekt zu laufen. die preferences wurden nochmal überarbeitet und teilweise auch nochmal gerenamed (zb. cookie management). die anordnung der hotlist wurde anscheinend zu gunsten der übersichtilichkeit minimal gefixed. es lohnt sich also auf jeden fall auf die beta zu switchen wenn man davpr keine angst hat ;) |
