DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 übertakten?
 
Mein Dual Core 2 Duo E 6600 hat zwei 2 x 2,4 Ghz und ich möchte ihn gern auf 3 Ghz takten.
Ein Kumpel von mir hat meinen Rechner damals auf 2 x 2,6 ghz getaktet und er läuft immer noch sehr gut.
Ich denke von der Kühlung müßte es reichen.Ich überwache auch Ständig mit Everest.
Ich selber habe vom Bios selbst und vom übertakten keine Ahnung und hoffe das Ihr mir helfen könnt mein Rechner auf 3 Ghz zu takten?

Habe mal meine Daten mit Everest ausgelesen damit Ihr einen Überblick bekommt.

Wie gut kennst du dich aus bei PCs allgemein?
Ohne entsprechende Grundkenntnisse brauchtse mit dem OC gar nich erst anfangen.

Und zu dem Thema C2Ds zu übertakten gibt es hier auch schon zig Threads.....kannste ja auch mal die Suchfunktion benutzen ;)
aus den Threads kannste dann auch einiges übers OC erfahren, vll nicht direkt was deine CPU betrifft...

und ansonsten....FSB auf 333(atm bei 291....da 291x9=2600[Mhz]) setzten und hoffen das alles gut geht:inflames:

Ja die Daten hab ich aus dem Bericht von Everest.Grundkenntnisse hab ich auf jeden Fall was XP und Vista angeht.Bin nur nicht so bewandert im Bios.

Ist es nicht besser in langsamen Schritten hoch zu gehn?
Kennt sich jemand mit meinem Bios aus und kann mir sagen wie ich am besten vorgehe?

Eine Anleitung wäre super.

Das hab ich mir schon durchgelesen!!Aber zu meinem Bios hab ich nichts weiter gefunden wie ich vorgehn muß!?

Der Multi läßt sich auch nicht verändern?

Multi lässt sich auch nur nach unten verändern(glaub bis 7 oder 6).
Du musst um OCen zu können den FSB erhöhen.
Weiss nicht genau wie das bei deinem Board heisst.
Der steht zur Zeit auf 291, daran müsstest den erkennen können. Und der FSB muss auf 333, damit du deine 3ghz hast.

FSB in kleinen Schritten erhöhen (am besten 5er Schritte) und immer schauen ob alles stabil läuft (mit Prime stressen und mit Everest Temps überwachen.)

Wenn die Sache dann instabil wird ins BIOS und wenn möglich die Kernspannung [B]in kleinstmöglichen Schritten![/B] erhöhen, danach nochmal probiern. Kernspannung nicht zu hoch setzen sonst grillst du das Dingen, maximal 2-3 Schritte hoch würd ich für den Anfang sagen.

Und natürlich OCWiki, da steht eigentlich eine Anleitung drin (dass man da natürlich nicht auf ein spezielles BIOS eingehen kann sollte klar sein. ;))

Multi senken ist ne schlechte Idee. Da knickt das Brett bei geringem FSB schon ein, Stichwort Northbridge Core Clock.

Temperaturen ok? Ich geh mal davon aus das du die Spannung(VCore) nicht erhöhen musstest!?

HAst du die Stabilität mit Prime95 oder Linpack getestet???

Ich habe mit Prime95 getestet und es wurden auch keine Fehler angezeigt.Cpu und Kerne unter Volllast schwankten zwischen 52 und 54 Grad.Die Spannung habe ich so gelassen wie sie war.

Hat alles super funktioniert!Danke!

Werde demnächst nochmal ein Thema eröffnen zum Thema Lüftung.Meine Lüfter sind mir zu laut.

Ich hoffe ich kann wieder auf Eure Hilfe zählen.

hy erst mal ich hab ein problem ickann bei mein mobo nix verstellen wollte den cpu hoch takten habe ein asus P5V-X SE intel 6300 bei amd ging es leichter hab in hanbuch internet gesucht was ich machen muss aber nix gefunden bitte hilft mir

sers back erstmal wenn du vielleicht mal was weiss ich so in etwa ausführlich halt sagen würdest was du so alles gemacht und versucht hast und was nicht mit taken multiplikatoren etc und natülich spannungen nicht zu vergessen könnte dir möglicherweise was nicht heissen muss sicher aber das weisst du ja selbst jemand helfen weil weil bei intel mit dem fsb verhält sichs halt ein bisschen anders als mit dem referenztakt bei amd.

Da musses ne Option geben.
ich hatte auch mal ein ASUS P5V rumfahren, da so weit ich mich noch erinnern kann ein paar Optionen.

Da wird doch irgendwo was von FSB oder irgendwas vonnem Takt stehen, das gleiche bei der Spannung, da wirds bestimmt ein VCore oder VDimm oder FSB-Voltage usw. geben...

Das ASUS P5V-X SE ist ein Board aus der billigsten Kategorie! Es ist rein für billig Desktop (OEM) Systeme gedacht und bietet aus dem Grund auch nur die rudimentärsten (einfachsten) Optionen an. Du wirst also auch keine Overclocking Optionen finden.
