AMD hat den neuen Athlon XP-M, basierend auf der K8-Architektur des Athlon 64, noch gar nicht vorgestellt, da bietet HP bereits Notebooks mit diesem Prozessor an. Die Notebooks Compaq R3000Z und HP ZV5000Z werden mit einem bislang unbekannten Athlon XP-M 2800+ betrieben.
