Temperaturen aktueller Karten im Vergleich

Bei der Temperaturmessung messen wir die Temperatur der GPU mittels geeigneter Tools (GPU-Z/Afterburner) im Idle Mode, also auf dem Windows Desktop beim Gaming (Far Cry 2) und unter Volllast. Die Volllast simulieren wir mittels Furmark, um die Grafikkarte maximal aufzuheizen. Der Furmark wird so lange betrieben, bis die Temperatur nicht weiter ansteigt. Um gleiche Bedingungen zu schaffen ist das System bei den Messungen offen. Am Eingang des Lüfters wird zudem mit einem Mehrkanal Temperaturfühler die Temperatur gemessen. Wir versuchen die Temperatur am Lüftereingang möglichst konstant zu halten. Abweichungen werden entsprechend auf eine "Lufteingangstemperatur" von 28 Grad Celsius normiert.

Die Temperaturen der GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 670 Windforce 3X zeigen sich trotz gleichem Kühler deutlich höher als die der GTX 680 Version. Das liegt daran das GIGABYTE die Lüftersteuerung deutlich geändert hat und die Lüfter nun im Idle deutlich langsamer drehen als noch zuvor.
