[B]SSDs[/B] bestehen, anders als herkömmliche Festplatten, aus Flashspeichern. Anders als HDDs besitzen sie keine beweglichen Teile, was sie [B]störungsunempfindlicher[/B] und kompakter und [B]lautlos[/B] macht. Neben den Werten bei frisch Installierten Betriebssystemen interessiert natürlich auch die Langzeitperformance. Dafür habe ich die bestehende, 1 Jahr alte, Windows 7 Installation inkl. Programmen auf die SSD geklont. Nur die empfohlene 10% Reserve habe ich auf der SSD freigelassen. Zum Vergleich habe ich die Neuinstallationswerte ans Ende gestellt. Zusätzlich verloren einige Programme verschlüsselte Zusatzinforamtionen, ICQ z.B. hatte keine gespeicherten Passwörter mehr. Allgemeiner Umgang mit SSDs - Tipps [B][U]Allgemeiner Umgang mit SSDs - Tipps[/U][/B] SSDs haben aufgrund ihres anderen Aufbaus einige Punkte, die zu beachten sind. Folgendes kann die Zufriedenheit steigern :wink: - und ist nice 2 know. [B]TRIM[/B] ... TRIM ist ein Befehl zur Markierung ungenutzter oder ungültiger Datenblöcke auf Speichermedien zum Zweck der späteren Wiederbeschreibung. Markierte Inhalte werden nicht weiter mitgeschrieben, wodurch die Schreibzugriffe auf das Laufwerk beschleunigt und zudem die Abnutzungseffekte verringert werden, das macht die Funktion also elementar wichtig. Windows 7 unterstützt TRIM, Vista/XP noch nicht. Um die Funktion unter Windows 7 sicher zu nutzen, wird eine Neuinstallation empfohlen. Allerdings wurde mir die Funktion auch nach der HDD -> SSD Migration als (evtl. fälschlich) aktiv angezeigt. [/URL] [B]Speicherplatz[/B] SSDs werden langsamer, je mehr Daten auf ihr Abgelegt sind (siehe Benchmarks). Obwohl Als Grenze sollten ca. 10% freigehalten werden – was sich bei Betriebssystemdatenträgern aber ohnehin empfiehlt. Unbenötigte Dateien können deshalb mit einem Trick ausgelagert werden: Ordner mit entsprechendem Ballast können auf andere Datenträger verschoben werden, und mithilfe von [URL="http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-symlinks-in-windows-vista/"]„Harten“ Links[/URL] in ihrem ursprünglichen Verzeichnis verknüpft werden. Das Betriebssystem und Programme greifen dann so auf den Ordner zu, als läge er wie gewohnt auf der eigentlichen Partition. [I][FONT="]Vorsicht: Systemdateien – hier können Probleme auftreten, sobald die andere Festplatte nicht im System angeschlossen ist. Ebenfalls kann der Explorer träge reagieren, wenn z.B. der Ordner "Eigene Dateien" falsch verlinkt wurde. Ich hatte versehentlich Benutzerprofilordner ins leere verknüft, allerdings war das Ändern kein problem.[/FONT][/I] Um nun Ordner zu finden, die viel unnötigen Ballast auf die SSD bringen, empfehle ich das Tool „[URL="http://www.win.tue.nl/cgi-bin/usr/sequoia/download3.cgi"]SequoiaView[/URL]“. Bei HDDs hat dies zur Folge, dass der Lesekopf beim Auslesen einer Datei zu anderen Positionen springen muss - also die Zugrifsszeiten höher sind. Das entfällt bei SSDs, [URL="http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid_State_Drive#Defragmentierung"]defragmentieren [/URL]ist also unnötig (und kostet nur Schreib-/Lesezyklen, die mittlerweile aber bei aktuellen Modellen ausreichend sind). [B]Backups[/B] Um Datenverlust vorzubeugen, sollte man generell regelmäßige Backups erstellen. Bei SSDs können in seltenen Fällen Firmware-Fehler zum Komplettverlust des Inhaltes führen. Ich sichere die SSD [U]wöchentlich[/U] komplett, die Festplatten mit Programmen und Eigenen Dokumenten in anderen Zeitabständen. Inkrementelle oder differentielle Backups sind von einer SSD sehr schnell erstellt. [I][FONT="]Aus leidvoller Erfahrung sollte man die Zuverlässigkeit des Backupprogrammes testen. Zu oft habe ich Probleme mit beschädigten Archiven, die sich nicht vernünftig wiederherstellen lassen.[/FONT][/I] |

Es stimmt, die Festplatte hat großen Einfluss bei Aufgaben abseits von Rechenintensiven Programmen. Erst SSDs bringen einem die Geschwindigkeit, die man von einem performanten System erwartet - der Test zeigt es! Zu oft habe ich schon die Klage von Freunden und bekannten gehört ;). Zwar gewöhnt man sich schnell an den Geschwindigkeitsgewinn; arbeitet man ab und zu an herkömmlichen Systemen, weiß man SSDs echt zu schätzen! Für Notebooks sind SSH Festplatten eine günstige Alternative. Sie bringen beim Systemstart und beim Starten häufig genutzer Anwendungen einen klaren Geschwindigkeitsgewinn, insgesammt muss sie sich jedoch auch klar von der SSD geschlagen geben. (Update: Mittlerweile ist eine [URL="http://www.tweakpc.de/preisvergleich/?cat=hd2s7&xf=1654_SSD-Cache&sort=r"]750GB Version mit 8GB SSD Cache[/URL] verfügbar) Die ADATA S511 ist in der (Schreib/Lese-) Geschwindigkeitsklasse >500 MB/s Preis/Leistungssieger in der 60 und 120GB Version. Zwar ist die 60GB Version nicht die schnellste der Serie, doch die Ergebnisse lassen sich selbst im Vergleich am SATA-2 Port sehen![COLOR=Silver] [/COLOR]Was mich allerdings überrascht hat, ist der leichte Leistungseinbruch bei vollen SSDs. Ich hatte gehört, dass das mitlerweile nicht mehr vorkommt. Zur Verteidigung muss man anbringen, dass es auf die Zugriffszeiten und nicht unbedingt auf die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ankommt - bei Systemfestplatten. Insgesammt bin ich von dem Produkt mehr als überzeugt und werde es in Zukunft auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen, wenn ich entsprechende Systeme konfiguriere. Das Klonen von Systempartitionen ist allerdings nicht für alle Installationen zu empfehlen, einige Lizensierungen und verschlüsselten Informationen basieren auf der ursprünglichen Festplatte. Bei Ausfall kann es ebenfalls zu Problemem kommen, stellt man das System auf einem anderen Datenträger wieder her! Ich hoffe, die Technische Probleme habe nur ich: Es werden bei mir meistens nicht alle Grafiken/Bilder geladen. Falls das bei euch auch der Fall sein sollte, bitte die Seite mehrfach laden. AW: Lesertest: ADATA S511 60 GB SATA 6 Gb/s SSD Die SSH hat einen lustigen nebeneffekt: Der Systemstart ist deutlich schneller als die Re-altivierung aus dem Ruhezustand. Wodran's liegt? Ich schätze, dass bei 8GB Ram das hib.sys - File größer ist, als der SSD Anteil in der 750er Platte. Schade eigentlich. |
