Durch das Bit-Image eben doch, denn dabei ist es egal wie oder wo die Daten auf der Platte liegen. Alles wird geschoben, unabhängig davon ob es einen Sinn ergibt oder nicht.

Wie ich gesagt hab, erstmal einen 1:1 Klon erstellen und dann an den Daten manipulieren.
