Naja, der Punkt (für mich) ist das der E2160 im
PassMark zB. mit Standard-Takt die gleiche Rohleistung hat wie ein Athlon64 X2 4800+, und die Dinger haben ja auch fast alle nur 2x 512KB L2 Cache. Aber getaktet auf 'nur' 3 GHz zieht er auf eine Stufe mit dem C2D E7200er.
Und das für gute 40 Euro! In Zahlen:
intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 @ 1.8 GHz = 968 Punkte
intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 @ 3.0 GHz = 1.668 Punkte
