Die sind allerdings ja beim Knuspern "etwas" extremer Unterwegs.

Der ist doch grafisch sehr bewandert und hat so coole Banner schon gebaut.

Ich hätte gern einen der mit Knäckebrot oder sowas zu tun hat.

Ich hab den als Dienst(e) eingerechnet und startet alles auch brav, nur öffnet sich halt die Konsole nicht mit. Wie komm ich da nun ran? :-|

Aeh, jaaaein. Die meisten Messrechner sind halt so auf P3-700MHz-Niveau :nerd: Ausserdem koennts komisch kommen, wenn die ploetzlich 24/7 durchlaufen ;) Und an den grossen Servern will ich mich nicht vergreifen...

Schau in den Ordner dort gibts ein LogFile "Fah.log" (oder so). Da siehste was passiert ist. Bei mir funktioniert das als Service irgendwie nicht... Status "starting" die ganze Zeit. Naja was solls.

Und warum habe ich für ein WU was auch immer das ist nur 15 Punkte und stingr4y 343 Punkte? Und kann ich das auch irgendwie sehen für was meine CPU eigendlich Rechnet. z.b. für das zählen der O2 Atome oder so?

Weil die halt unterschiedlich gross waren!

Deine hatte 150 Frames - so wie meine auch. Bei der bekam man halt 15 Punkte - siehste ja, dass ich mit meiner ersten WU auch genau diese 15 Punkte bekam.

Meine aktuelle hat wie gesagt 1500 Frames - ist also 10mal so groß - und frisst auch deutlich mehr Zeit.

Die Punkte werden vorher bestimmt.

Our goal is consistency within a given definition of a reference machine setup (described above), but beyond that the natural variation from machine to machine and WU to WU will never allow any point system to perfectly reflect what you get on your machine.

Klingt nach nem Neztwerkproblem - oder nach ner Firewall, die den Servercall nicht durchgelassen hat. Nur "Thomas" klingt da merkwürdig - oder haste nen Proxy Server der so heißt?

na mal im ernst, keine ahnung, wie kommt das zustande? ich hatte heut die situation, das das traysymbol weg war, wollte t@h starten, und da meinte er das es schon gestartet ist. also ich konnt es nicht mehrfach starten.

Hmm keine Ahnung... Wie gesagt ich bekomms als Dienst nicht zum laufen. Etwas strange is das Ding schon :mrgreen:

Wenn ich meinen Laptop wieder am Laufen habe (nächste Woche), steuer ich auch noch ein bischen Power bei (2x2GHz).

Hab gestern mein erstes WU beigesteuert. Zusätzlich rechnet jetzt auch noch mein Rechner daheim parallel an 2 WUs. Meine beiden Babys bauen dabei auf jeweils einer Opteron (2.3 GHz) und einer C2D (3.6GHz) CPU auf.
