775Dual-880Pro

I have an old motherboard that i'm using as a win7.

It has some limitations, like only 2 X 1GB of ram DDR2,

If it's possible, i need , 4gb of ram

Anyway, if there's no way to get it done, or people don't want to spend their time, that it's understundable, is there any tutorial or how-to mod your own bios?

ich habe einen Motherboard 775Dual-880Pro (letztes offizielles Bios ver 1.70)
Ich moechte 4GB RAM installieren,

aber der Motherboard erkennt maximum 2 GB.

Kann ich das Problem mit ein inoffizielles Bios loesen? Wenn Ja, wo kann ich es finden?

the motherboard has only two DDR2 and DDR Dimm slots. You can try to install two 2GB DDR2 modules. Costs about 15€ even at Amazon

Gibt es nen bestimmten Grund warum Du den Dinosaurier noch am Leben halten möchtest?

Ich hab hier auch noch zwei alte Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 inkl. Core2Duo E6600 rumliegen - oder auch ein AMD Phenom 2 X2 550 (glaube ich) auf nem Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H.

Passender DDR2 bzw. DDR3 Speicher ist glaub ich auch vorhanden.

Liegt aber seit ner Ewigkeit nur rum - müsste aber eigentlich laufen.
