_ This is still a work-in-progress and support is currently enabled via a hidden .ini option only.
_ With Winamp closed, open %AppData%\Winamp\Plugins\gen_ml.ini in Notepad.
_ Add the following line: writeratings=1
_ Save gen_ml.ini
_ We are now using the standard WMP 0-256 scale for 1-5 ratings (read & write).
_ For mp3, ratings are written to the POPM id3v2 frame.
_ Support for other formats (wma, ogg, flac, mp4) to be implemented later.

_ The built-in icon support is for winamp.exe, winampa.exe and the installer/uninstaller.
_ Filetype support is provided via the native Jump to File Extra plugin (gen_jumpex.dll)
_ and, at long last, implements different icons for different filetypes
_ A selection of Icon library packs is available below.
_ Close Winamp. Install the icon pack (icon dll's are installed to the %ProgramFiles%\Winamp\Icons folders). Open Winamp.
_ You can change/select icon packs via: Prefs (Ctrl+P) -> Jump to File -> Extras
_ The "Enable File Types prefs page additions" option should be checkmarked (icon pack installation enables it).
_ Select the icon pack of your choice via the drop-down menu.
_ Click 'Allow'/'Continue' if presented with a UAC prompt (on Win7/Vista).
_ Although the following will be automatically enabled, you can confirm the icon pack is active by:
_ 1) Going to the "Prefs -> File Types" page and making sure both the File & Playlist icons are set to the very bottom position on the slider.
_ 2) Opening any folder in Windows containing Winamp-associated filetypes and seeing the icon(s) change in real-time.
