Die Woche beginnt mit neuen Programmversionen, denn auch das Grafikkarten-Tweaking-Tool PowerStrip ist als neue Beta-Version verfügbar.

Die neue Version von PowerStrip trägt die Nummer 3.8 Beta Build 623 und unterstützt nun auch die Radeon HD 4000 Karten, allerdings ist diese Unterstützung noch vorläufig.

preliminary support for the HD4xxx series
tooltips for h/v frequency providing mathematically more precise data: hover the mouse pointer over the H/V "Geometry" labels.
a timing "finder" for users with GF6/GF7/GF8/GF9, Radeon and Intel Extreme graphics: UNcheck "Real-time adjustrment", input the refresh rate desired, and double-click the "Vertical geometry" label
improved Windows device/hardware controller correspondence for dual-headed R600 and newer AMD GPUs
more precise measurement of the primary vertical refresh rate using the DirectX VBI: double-click the camera icon on the Display profiles page
exposed advanced timing options (progressive only) for GF8 and GF9 series cards
improved multimonitor/primary hotkey switching
