Pressemitteilung The Albatron ‘PX845GE Pro II’ has landed! October 2002 - Albatron Technology, a manufacturer of Mainboards and Graphics Cards announced the up and coming ‘PX845GE Pro II’ Mainboard. This board is positioning itself to take advantage of the new generation of Intel® Pentium® 4 CPUs, boasting the capability to boost its FSB frequency up to 667MHz (overclocked) in addition to supporting DDR400 (overclocked) speeds. This Mainboard also includes an integrated graphics engine contained within the Intel® 845GE Northbridge chipset removing the need for acquiring a separate graphics card. Ultra fast and reliably stable, the Albatron “PX845GE Pro II” is setting its sights on the top rung of the Mainboard market. The PX845GE Pro II can currently reach the DDR 400 plateau (overclocked) that was first achieved by its predecessor, the PX845G which has topped the speed charts for the past two months. Along with all of the other PX845G trimmings, Albatron has thrown in an Intel LAN and a RAID system supporting Serial ATA 150 MB/s Hard Disks. All of this, together with 480 Mbit/s USB 2.0 ports, places this product at the top of the leaderboards, making it one of the most versatile, high performance Mainboards ever. The PX845GE Pro II, includes the latest Intel® 845GE chipset which supports DDR333. With special overclocking features, the PX845GE Pro II Mainboard is capable of reaching DDR400 and providing 3.2 GB/s data transfer rates. Albatron Technology has designed this Mainboard with easy-to-tune and easy-to-overclock features. The purpose was to come out with a new breed of Mainboards suited to overclocking, satisfying the insatiable demands of computer gamers. This Mainboard comes with the Watch Dog Timer which senses when a system hang has occurred and then automatically resets the default BIOS configurations so that you dont have to open the computer case and rejumper to manually clear the BIOS configurations. This convenient feature comes in extremely handy when experimenting with overclocking configurations. Also Albatron engineers have enhanced overclocking configurability by enabling the user to configure voltage settings for the CPU (1.1V~1.85V, 0.25 increments), DDR (2.5V, 2.6V, 2.7V, 2.8V), and AGP (1.5V~1.6V). The Albatron PX845GE Pro II supports the Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor, Socket 478 with FSB 400/533/667MHz (667MHz setting available for overclocking), 3 DDR333 memory sockets, 6 PCI slots, 1 AGP Slot, built-in Intel LAN Chip, Serial ATA, RAID (0,1), 6 USB 2.0/1.1 ports (4 by bracket and cable), and 6 Channel AC97 Audio sound.
