Call of Duty: Ghosts offiziell bestätigt

Wirklich gezweifelt hatte wohl kaum jemand daran, dass auch dieses Jahr ein neues Call of Duty in den Handel kommen soll und nun hat Activision die Entwicklung von Call of Duty: Ghosts auch offiziell bestätigt.

Umgesetzt wird der Shooter bei Infinity Ward, dem Studio, das die Serie einst begründet hat. In Bezug auf Story, Setting und Charaktere wird Call of Duty: Ghosts neue Wege beschreiten, wie Activision verriet. Was das im Detail bedeutet, wird vermutlich am 21. Mai 2013, bei der Präsentation der nächsten Xbox, verraten.

Call of Duty: Ghosts soll planmäßig am 5. November 2013 für PC, Xbox 360 und PlayStation 3 erscheinen. Zudem ist eine Version für die Next-Gen-Konsolen Xbox 720 und PlayStation 4 geplant.
