ABIT's µGuru™ has added Autodrive™ to allow ABIT users to have their PC automatically speed up or slow down according to what the user is doing. Designed for Intel's 865PE chipset, the AS8 features the new LGA775 P4 platform. The AS8 comes equipped with Dual DDR 400, SATA RAID, IEEE1394 and is ABIT Engineered.

The ABIT Engineers have determined that a radical new design was needed for the 775-pin CPU to be effective at reducing heat. To this end, we have devised a new solution which takes these issues into account. This new solution will change the industry and become a new standard in motherboard cooling.

Welcome back ABIT Engineered Overclocking Strips. First developed 3 years ago for use with the ABIT TH7 and the launch of Pentium4 and Rambus memory, Overclocking Strips are back again for the AS8, AG8 and AA8-DuraMAX. The Overclocking Strips found on the AS8 allow for better CPU cooling and lower EMI results. The end result is a better and more durable overclock. The Overclocking Strips are built into the AG8 to ensure maximum performance and stability. Only features built in to the design of the motherboard can be effective. Any after-design add-on is unacceptable for the ABIT Engineering Team.
