Wie viel Leistung lässt sich heraus kitzeln

Bereits bei dem Referenzdesign der GeForce GTX 560 Ti hat sich gezeigt, das diese wie auch die GTX 460 gut für das Übertakten geeignet ist. Diese Karten lassen sich in der Regel weit über 900 MHz takten. Hier im Falle der Gigabyte Karte liegen diese 900 MHz bereist ab Werk an und man hofft natürlich, dass noch etwas mehr drin ist.

Mit den neusten OC Tools, kann bei der Karte die Core Voltage auf 1,150 mV erhöht werden und so dass volle Potential der Karte anvisiert werden. Natürlich hat uns interessiert ob die Karte damit die magische Grenze der 1000 MHz knackt, mit der das SOC Modell von Gigabyte fährt.

Und was sollen wir sagen, es funktioniert. Unser Modell konnten wir Problemlos bei maximaler Spannung mit 1000 MHz Core und 2200 MHz Speichertakt betreiben. Die Performance der Karte steigt damit noch einmal gewaltig an. Besonders lobenswert dabei ist, dass man die Gainward karte auch locker mit 100% Fanspeed betreiben kann ohne das einem dabei die Ohren abfallen. Zudem zeigt sich bei unserem Modell auch bei deftigem Overcklocking kein Spulenfiepen oder tackern. Diese Karte ist wirklich fürs Übertakten wie gemacht.
