Fans müssen sich demnach nicht mehr allzu lange gedulden, denn am 16. Januar 2007 ist es dann soweit, wie der Webseite von Blizzard zu entnehmen ist:

"World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Street Date Announced
Blizzard is proud to announce that World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade will be in stores nationwide starting on January 16, 2007. For further details, please view our latest press release here. We will continue closed beta testing the expansion content over the next couple of months prior to launch to ensure that we deliver a high-quality experience for our players."

Auch Preise werden genannt. So soll die normale Version 34,99 Euro kosten. Eine Collector's Edition soll für 69,99 Euro über den Ladentisch gehen.
