Vom freien Medienplayer VideoLAN Client (kurz VLC) ist eine neue Version erschienen, die wieder eine Reihe kleiner Verbesserungen enthält.
Da die vorherigen Versionen mit einem Sicherheitproblem behaftet sind, sollten alle Windows-Nutzer in jedem Fall auf die Version 0.8.6d umsteigen, folgende Neuerungen gibt es zudem:
