Microsoft: Kein Blu-ray für die Xbox 360

Beim letzten Mal, als es um das Thema Xbox 360 und Blu-ray ging, folgte von Microsoft prompt ein Dementi. Auch dieses Mal ist das nicht anders.

In einer E-Mail an GamePro schreibt ein Offizieller von Microsoft:

"As we have stated, we have no plans to introduce a Blu-ray drive for Xbox 360.[...] Games are what drive consumers to purchase game consoles, and we remain focused on providing the largest library of blockbuster games available."

Zumindest offiziell bleibt es erst einmal dabei, dass man in Redmond nicht auf Blu-ray setzt.
