ICQ Lite Beta Build 1066 ist nun im Internet verfügbar. Diese kleinere und abgespeckte Version kommt mit einem neuen Design daher und steht seinem grossen Bruder ICQ 2002a in keiner Weise nach.

ICQ Lite und ICQ 2002a sollen ohne Probleme parallel berieben werden können. Hier einige interesante Features: ICQ Lite is only 1.7 Mb, can be installed quickly, easily & uses minimal resources! - Download a new, no-frills, slim version of ICQ in less time than ever. Install ICQ Lite quickly and easily. It's also easy on your computer's resources. Switch between ICQ Lite and ICQ 2002a! - ICQ Lite can work WITH the full-featured ICQ 2002a: you can alternate between the two versions. The image below shows how to switch from ICQ Lite to ICQ 2002a. By clicking Main -> Switch to ICQ full version in ICQ Lite, ICQ Lite will shut down, and the full-featured version of ICQ will automatically start in Advanced mode. Use the Typing Indicator to see when a contact is typing you a message! - When you send a message to another ICQ Lite user, the text User is typing... will appear periodically at the bottom of your message window to indicate the user is typing (Note: "User" will be replaced with your friend's nickname).
