Pressemitteilung START YOUR ENGINES MAXON's CINEBENCH 2003 pushes computers to their limit for benchmark scores you can trust Leading 3D developer MAXON today released CINEBENCH 2003, a free benchmarking tool for Windows and Mac OS that is based on the company's powerful CINEMA 4D R8 software. CINEBENCH 2003 is set to deliver accurate benchmarks by testing not only a computer's raw processing speed but also all other areas that affect system performance such as OpenGL, multithreading, multiprocessors and Intel's new HyperThreading. CINEBENCH 2003 is available for immediate download from http://www.maxon.net/jumps/cinebench.html. CINEBENCH 2003 runs on all versions of Windows from 98 onwards and on Mac OS 9 and Max OS X. The tool includes render tasks that test the performance of up to 16 multiprocessors on the same computer as well as software-only shading tests and OpenGL shading tests on huge numbers of animated polygons that will push any computer to its limits. In addition, a database function enables users to share and collect benchmark scores easily, via email or the Internet.
