The SiS648FX, 655FX and 655TX chipsets are designed for high performance PC application, integrating a high performance host interface for the Intel® Pentium® 4 HT 800 processor, and utilizing SiS MuTIOL® 1G Technology for the fastest bus speed of any PC chipsets. The 648FX and 655FX/TX chipsets also feature SiS¡¦ HyperStreaming™ Technology, which provides more efficient data transfer speeds for the demanding applications of today and tomorrow. The new P4 Prescott processor from Intel® is most advanced processor from Intel® to date, using a new 90nm process for faster operation. The Prescott also features an updated Intel® NetBurst Microarchitecture with a 1MB L2 cache for more increased transmission of data per clock cycle and improved Hyper-Threading Technology that allows one processor to act as two.
