Catalyst 6.10 steht zum Download bereit

Offenbar hat man sich beeilen müssen, um die Treiber noch am 31.10. zu veröffentlichen. Schließlich deutet die "10" in der Versionsnummer auf den Monat 10, also Oktober. Die "6" steht für das Jahr 2006. Die erst kürzlich vorgestellten Karten Radeon X1950 Pro und Radeon X1650 XT werden vom Catalyst 6.10 nämlich noch nicht unterstützt. Man kann davon ausgehen, dass deren Unterstützung erst im Catalyst 6.11 integriert wird. Hier ein Auszug aus den Release-Notes:

3DMark2006: Setting the display resolution to 1600x1200 and AA to either 4x or 6x no longer results in display corruption being noticed when running the HDR1 test. This issue was known to occur on certain specific systems only.

Anarchy-Online: Screen corruption is no longer noticed when walking or running through the terrain.

Black & White 2: Battle of the Gods: Intermittent display corruption is no longer noticed when playing the game in a system containing an ATI Radeon X1900 series and running the Windows MCE operating system when setting the graphics options within the game to high details.

Commandos Strike Force: Enabling CrossFire and playing the game no longer results in display corruption being noticed when using an Intel 965 motherboard.

Godfather: Task switching between the game and the windows desktop no longer results in display corruption being noticed when playing the game at a display resolution of 1600x1200 (or higher) when having the in-game video options set to optimal quality.

Serious Sam 2: Playing the game on a system running the Windows MCE operating system and containing an ATI Radeon X1800 CrossFire Edition product no longer results in the operating system rebooting.

World of Warcraft: Playing the game for an extended period of time no longer results in the game failing to respond when using a Radeon X800.
