(FIC) is excited to announce the launch of 2 brand new ATX motherboards based on Intel® 845 series chipsets and incorporating revolutionary Hyper-Threading technology. The VC19E+ is based on the Intel® 845PE chipset and the VC19G+ is based on the Intel® 845GE chipset with integrated graphics controller. Until now this facility has not been available to mainstream users but the new Intel 845 series chipsets have meant that products like the VC19E+ and VC19G+ can support the new technology and benefit from significantly improved performance. Both the VC19E+ and VC19G+ support 400/533MHz FSB and up to 2GB of DDR 333 memory. 5 PCI slots and 1 AGP 4X slot make expansion easy, and the multitude of on-board features are impressive to say the least. Features include on-board 5.1 channel audio with A73 bracket to provide coaxial audio interfaces, on-board USB 2.0 ports, on-board IEEE 1394 ports, on-board LAN, on-board IDE, serial ATA and RAID. Extensive, jumperless over clocking facilities ensure users can get the absolute last drop of performance from their equipment and the VC19G+ even features an advanced graphics controller integrated into the Intel® 845GE chipset. IEEE 1394 is a high-speed serial bus sometimes known as "FireWire". An alternative to USB 2.0, IEEE1394 provides very fast interfacing facilities for peripherals. The fast data rates available with IEEE 1394 make it especially suitable for large file transfers and multimedia peripherals like camcorders. Both the VC19E+ and VC19G+ support IEEE 1394. Like all FIC motherboards both the VC19E+ and VC19G+ come with a generous bundle of free software on CD including Norton products and Adobe Acrobat reader.
