Im Zuge der Feierlichkeiten zum 25-Jährigen Engagement im Notebookmarkt, hat Toshiba ein Konzept-Notebook mit zwei Screens angekündigt.
Das libretto W100 getaufte Sondermodell in limitierter Auflage, verfügt über einen Intel Pentium U5400 mit 1,2 GHz, zwei Gigabyte DDR3-RAM und eine SSD mit 62 Gigabyte. Als Betriebssystem kommt Windows 7 Home Premium zum Einsatz.
Die beiden Screens messen jeweils sieben Zoll und bieten eine Auflösung von 1024 x 600 Pixel. Das Gerät verfügt über einen SD-Slot, sowie einen USB-Anschluss. Es beherrscht WLAN in den Standards 802.11 b/g/n und Bluetooth. Zum Preis gab Toshiba nicht bekannt, die Auslieferung soll aber noch im Sommer beginnen.
Carl Pinto, Vizepräsident der Produktentwicklung bei Toshiba, dazu: "This concept PC sets the pace for Toshiba’s continued commitment to innovation, demonstrating what’s possible in the next generation of ultra-mobile PCs."
