AMD: Never-Settle-Bundle geht doch weiter - offizielles Statement

Gerade erst wurde vom Online-Händler Mindfactory bekannt gemacht, dass das Bundle gestoppt wird. Nun nimm AMD dazu offiziell Stellung und gibt Entwarnung. Dass Bundle bleibt unverändert so im Handel. Es enthält einen speziellen Download-Code, der in Deutschland nur die USK Version des Games freischaltet und nicht die PEGI-Version. Händler würden auch nur diese Codes von AMD erhalten.

Dazu hat AMD ein offizielles Statement gegenüber der Presse abgegeben.

"AMD carefully tracks the download codes we provide to our bundle promotion partners. In the case of Sleeping Dogs, the publisher, Square Enix Ltd., created a special build (“USK build”) of the game specifically for the German market. They then provided AMD with download codes that only unlock the USK build. We in turn ensured that participating retail, e-tail and system builder partners in Germany only received the USK build download codes.
 
In answer to the question about versions of Sleeping Dogs available to individuals in Germany, a different version of Sleeping Dogs was available for purchase in Germany prior to the country-specific rating update that in turn required the content changes reflected in the USK build. The USK build made available to us by the publisher complies with the changes requested by the German rating body."
