Battlefield: Bad Company 2: PC vor Xbox und PS3

Barrie Tingl nahm im offiziellen BBC2-Blog kurz Stellung zu den Nutzerzahlen von Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (TweakPC-Test). Demnach spielen mehr PC-Spieler das Spiel, als Xbox360- oder PS3-Spieler.

Des Weiteren gab Tingl an, dass Battlefield: Bad Company 2 bereits mehr simultan aktive Spieler aufweise, als Battlefield 2, welches trotz seines Alters von fünf Jahren noch über eine verhältnismäßig rege Community verfügt.

Im Forum gaben EA und DICE außerdem bekannt, dass sie mit Hochdruck an den Disconnect-Problemen arbeite, unter denen PC- und PS3-Spieler litten.

Die Probleme liegen demnach größtenteils am Server, der nun auf die Version R5 gepatcht wurde.

"We are aware of a number of remaining disconnect issues on PC and we have released the  R5  server to hosts yesterday to address some of the disconnects. We are continuing to work on the remaining disconnect issues to have a solution as fast as possible as well as looking into reports of other issues raised on the forums for consoles and PC."
