Unser Performance Index ist der Durchschnitt über die prozentualen Anteile jeder Karte am Maximum der erreichten Framerate aller Karten in jedem einzelnen Test. Der Index stellt also dar, wie viel Prozent Leistung jede Karte im Vergleich zur maximal erreichten Leistung aller getesteten Karten hat.
Besitzt eine Karte einen Index von 100, so war sie damit in jedem Test die schnellste Karte. Diese Methode erlaubt es schnell einen Überblick über die Gesamtperformance einer Grafikkarte und die Einordnung im gesamten Feld zu bekommen. Im Diagramm geben wir zudem auch den Faktor Leistung (FPS)/Euro an. Je größer dieser Wert um so besser ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der Karte.
