GeForce GTS 250 und GeForce GTS 240 zur CeBIT

Nach Aussagen der Jungs von Expreview hat NVIDIA seinen Partnern folgendes mitgeteilt:

"GeForce GTS 250 carries over the same specs and features of 9800 GTX+, and hence the same GPU, memory, board, PCB, and thermal solution. AIC’s should be confident in purchasing GPU’s, PCB’s, and other materials, since the only change is a new VBIOS to implement the new branding."

Die GeForce GTS 250 soll also nichts anderes sein als eine umbenannte GeForce 9800 GTX+. Und weil das Umbenennen von Grafikkarten offenbar einen Heidenspaß macht, darf sich auch die GeForce 9800 GT (die ja eine umbenannte 8800 GT ist) auf einen neuen Namen freuen. Das soll nämlich die GeForce GTS 240 werden.
