Unreal Engine 3 in Zukunft mit Steamworks Suite

Die Steamworks Suite erlaubt es Entwicklern ihre Spiele in Steam zu integrieren und bietet unter anderem den Zugang zur Steam-Produktkey-Authentifizierung, dem Steam-Kopierschutz, den Anticheat-Mechanismen aus Steam, automatischen Updates und der Steam-Community.

Mark Rein, Mitbegründer und Vizepräsident von Epig Games dazu in der Pressemitteilung: "Valve has created a world-wide phenomenon with Steam and we’re excited to be able to have the Steamworks suite of services available to Unreal Engine 3 licensees so they can take full advantage of all that Steam has to offer."
